Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 of 1970) is an American actress best known for portraying the role of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter and Dr. Sydney Hansen on NBC's Providence drama as well as The Resident's medical drama The Resident. The actress also won acclaim for her breakthrough television debut as Eleni Andros Cooper in the CBS soap series Guiding Light. 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians The Lightning Thief and Snitch were amongst her credits on film. The Wheel of Life by Elisabeth Kubler Ross, the writer of the Immortals film Immortals will be adapted to the large-screen. The actress will work with Vlas Parlapanides and Charley parlapanides. She's also filming a new television series titled Gods & Heroes.
